The Blog of Givemebeats.comMailing Problem FixedAfter the upgrade to the new server, we were unable to receive mails from the site. We have fixed this issue and we are receiving all the emails now. We are sorry for not answering emails earlier, we will help each customer, one at a time. - Mardix Posted: 02/03/07 Givemebeats.com down for four days!To get ready for the most advance Givemebeats.com (GMB XP), it became mandatory for us to upgrade to a faster server, that can handle a lot of request and to provide the customers with a greater XPerience when it comes to buying beats online. Unfortunately, while moving to the new server we had a hard drive failure which caused the deletion of all the beats, and all the pictures posted by the members. Our database server was affected by this failure, but we had a copy of it, and made it easy for us to recover all these important data. We were unable to recover the photos posted by our valuable members, but we had a backup of all the beats posted. For four days, (27-30 Jan 2007), we had to put the server offline and stopped all income access, then we recovered all the data we could. After most of the data were recovered we put the site back online on Jan 30th 2007, and started to work as quick as possible to release GMB XP which was supposed to be online on the 1st of Feb 2007. Even though the site is online now, there are some beats that are not available for either preview or download. If a customer is unable to download a beat, he/she can contact us by phone and email. We will do our best to help every customer, and one at a time. We are really sorry for this inconvenience, and we'll do our best to prevent this kind of error in the future. We really appreciate everyone's support, and everyday we'll provide a better service to satisfy our valuable customers. - Mardix Posted: 02/03/07 Givemebeats.com on its way to XP
