10,000 Beats Milestone

We gladly thank all the producers for their contributions on the site.

Today is the day we cross the line of 10,000 beats available for sale. Although over 16,000 beats have been uploaded, and a lot of Exclusive beats have been sold, and some producers put their beats offline, today the website display 10,000 beats produced by some of the talented producers on the planet.

We just crossed 10,000, and it won't take long to reach 20,000.

Favorites Beats and Recently Played Beats feature work again

Recently the Favorite Beats and Recently Played Beats where slowing our server down, so we had to disable it. Therefore it was impossible for people to save their beats. So we had to disable it.

Fortunately, we have fixed the problem and you can save beats in your Favorite Beats, and each beat you visit will be saved automatically in the recently played beats.

Givemebeats.com National Tour With Dub Show

What's up What's up?

Givemebeats.com, the #1 community to buy and sell beats online, is going on the road in 11 cities with the Dub Magazine, the #1 automotive lifestyles magazine, on the Dub Show 2007 Custom Auto Show & Concert.

This is a new experience for Givemebeats.com and Hip Hop, since there was any precedents for promoting beats before.

On the show, we are going to promote the website, the service that we offer, and the beats posted by our talented producers in the community.

Also, we will promote and sell "The Ultimate Beat Masters", a beat CD that will contain 15 of some of the hottest beats posted on GMB. This CD is worth 00, but you can cop it for , and you will have a Non Exclusive right to use it.

The beats will be royalty free for the buyers but the producers will receive credits and royalties from the sales of the cd.

Once again Givemebeats.com is a pioneer, we are doing something that hasn't been done before, and we are proud to be it, and we are still going to be it.

Givemebeats.com will release "ULTIMATE BEAT MASTERS"

This year Givemebeats.com will release “The Ultimate Beat Masters” and will do a national tour with Dub Magazine in 11 cities.

Last year in June, we released “Beats for the Streets”. A Beat CD that featured 16 of the hottest beats on Givemebeats.com. About 500 CD were distributed for free, and the beats were licensed under a non exclusive agreement.

This summer we are producing “The Ultimate Beat Masters”. This CD will contain 15 hot beats produced by the some of the hottest producers on Givemebeats.com, and will be promoted and sold worldwide.

About “Ultimate Beat Masters”

-This CD will contain 15 of the hottest beats produced by producers having a PRO account, and will be marketed and sold to potential artists looking for beats.

- The beats will be chosen from members who have a PRO account. Basic members will not be eligible to feature in it.

- The beats will be under the non exclusive right of Givemebeats.com

- Every producers will get the same royalty payment from the sales of the CD

- The beats will be royalty free for the buyers

- We'll choose one track per producer with a PRO account

- The chosen beats won't contain any samples

- We will professionally master the CD

- At least 10,000 CD will be promoted and sold all around the country

Past performance on the site will not be a reason to make a producer eligible, only new beats will be screened and chosen. When a beat is selected, the producer will be contacted for more information, and for further procedures.

“The Ultimate Beat Masters” will be available for sale in the middle of May 2007, and we will kick off our first national tour with Dub Magazine on May 13 2007 in Dallas Texas. We will sell the CD at all the eleven shows that we'll attend, and make sure that all the 10,000 CD are sold.

We'll be going to the following cities with the Dub Show: Dallas, TX - Atlanta GA, Charlotte NC , Miami FL, Atlantic City NJ, Boston MA, Chicago IL, and more cities.

We'll give out free tickets to members of Givemebeats.com to check out, and hang with us in our booth.

This is a new experience for Givemebeats.com and for Hip Hop, since there were any precedents. And this effort will be engraved in our memory, as GMB is the first to release a nationwide disc that will not only offer hot beats to artists at an affordable price, but to put more spotlight on the up coming producers, and also the first company to promote beats at a car show.

Changes and Fixes

During the past few weeks, a lot of stuff have been changed and fixed on the site.

The most recent are:

People can add comments in the GMB blog
Comments are OK for the beatbox and the producers page
The FORUMS is no longer available

There were tons of small changes in the codes, that will make the development of the site better and faster.
